From birth to age 5, a child’s brain develops more rapidly than at any other time in life. This represents a golden opportunity to teach our children to choose love over hate. To embrace our differences and accept people who look dissimilar to ourselves. To work in unison to win the many races of life alongside people who are of different ethnicities. While everybody may look different on the outside, we are all truly the same on the inside. Racial Equality. Teamwork. Empathy. Compassion. Love. All simple and easily reinforced messages that can be read over and over again to a vulnerable and inquisitive mind. These prevailing notions can be ingrained at an early age to cultivate a better heart and mind. Ultimately leading to a better future for us all.
